stacked every chip on myself, time to collect

A few weeks ago Kai Cenat announced his Steamer University 2 event, and the whole social media world erupted! I feel a lot of different ways on this lol. Honestly speaking, I feel as if most people see this as a “quick way to fame” type thing. Which is why I was turned away from it last year, because if I know that’s the motive of most people there, why would I surround myself around that? But, this year I applied.. in hopes that if accepted, I can gain something worth value that can be applied to my own community.

I’ve also questioned that what if the energy and effort that people are applying (pun intended) into their Streamer University applications, was put into themselves or their own projects.. what would that look like? But a lot of people are afraid to bet on themselves and even take that chance, so much so that they feel more comfortable giving that energy to something external!

This is where I’ll choose to talk my shit, so if self confidence is something that frightens you, or makes you uncomfortable then now is a good time to stop reading lol.

Field Day IS my Streamer University. An event solely developed by me (along with my amazing community) and put forth with the vision of one day being a GLOBAL event for many content creators and community members that will shine light on those with passions and skills that can impact the lives of others in community. I’ve put so much energy into this and I know what it will flourish into, so THAT is why I’m going so hard for it. It’s no slight to Kai, Streamer University, or the applicants attempting to get in. I’m just on my OWN timing, and my OWN journey. I have visions and a true passion for the things I do, and I will not put those to the side just to ride the wave or gain notoriety from sources that I don’t even click with on many levels. Field Day IS already something that many people in my community are excited for, and that is only going to grow as time goes on. You get out what you put in, and I’m giving this my ALL.

God I thank You!
